Paulette Points TO: JJ Hanrahan
I had the honour of working with JJ Hanrahan in 2014 when he was ruled out of the Heiniken cup semi final in France. I feel that this is a niche and specialised market where I can help athletes to heal by lying still and working with Yoga Nidra therapy and personalised visualisation. It is very different from the constant bombardment that athletes have to endure to stay on top of their game.
Over the years, I have worked with many elite athletes who push their bodies to the limit but what happens when they have recurring injuries and their body is on the verge of breakdown. They realise that treatments are not working fast enough to be ready for the next game. It is time to start think of the wellness of an athlete where the body need time to rest and recover naturally . Yoga Nidra therapy is an ancient practice that works and your body will heal faster and stronger.
This is what JJ had to say about the concept of SportsYoga.ie where I encourage athletes to take their sport to another level !
When I was ruled out of the Heineken Cup Semi-final with a groin injury, I started working with Paulette. She wrote out a personalised visualisation for me and included it in the yoga nidra therapy. I made a great recovery in two weeks which would normally take 4 weeks. I am in no doubt that it helped me massively. I would highly recommend yoga nidra therapy with Paulette if you are suffering from injury and need to get back in for an important game or even have personalised skill’s that you need to focus on. I found it great for kicking and visualising positive outcomes and results.
I would like to wish JJ every success with Northampton Saints and I have no doubt that he will return to Munster Rugby again .
